A Beauty & Fashion Blog

I was recently tagged by the lovely Gemma from Gemsmaquillage to do the Colors of the Rainbow Tag. The rainbow tag is a fairly popular tag at the moment and many of you should understand this as it has been floating around the blogging and YouTube world for a couple weeks. The rainbow label is such a fun tag to do and it’s understandable that lots of people have done it.

If you are not acquainted with the rainbow label, then you basically have to apply the colors of the rainbow (red, orange, yellowish, green, blue, indigo, violet, and pink and multicolored) to beauty and/or fashion items. You can either relate the colors to cosmetics, fashion items, or you can have a variety of the two, I chose to associate the colors to cosmetics as I wanted to keep things simple just.

So without further ado, are my 9 colourful cosmetics here! Lady Danger’ is possibly my most favorite red lipstick of all time and if it was ever to be discontinued, I’d literally buy 10 backups (and that’s no exaggeration). Lady Danger’ is a bright red, orange-toned lipstick, and they have a matte end.

If you’re searching for a red lipstick that has great staying and packages a punch then this will be ideal for you! I love MAC lipsticks generally but this one does stand out from the rest really, the color is insane, it’s super-duper pigmented and it can last all night on the lips (and that’s without a lip liner!). I needed to utilize this for my red product as it’s such an amazing lipstick, if you would like to observe how beautiful it is, a swatch is provided at the ultimate end of this post. Overall I really like the MAC lip pencils and I especially love the color of ‘Lasting Sensation’ lip pencil.

I didn’t really know which product to use for my yellow product because I really do have yellowish eyeshadows and lipsticks but I only ever use them for creative purposes therefore I wanted to include a product I wear often. In the long run I needed to opt for my Juicy Couture ‘Viva La Juicy’ perfume because this is something I use often and in every fairness it is yellowish, therefore I think I could get away with that one.

It’s an extremely lovely perfume, for the summer especially, and it will last on the skin really. I have a tendency to find some perfumes wear off after a few hours but this really doesn’t the fragrance remains until it is washed by you off. I’m no good at describing scents which is appalling as I’m a beauty blogger but all I could describe it as being girly (what an insightful description).

It’s a pleasant perfume with a lovely scent and if you like the other Juicy Couture perfumes, you’ll such as this. I got this eyeshadow in the Illamasqua sale at Christmas and I didn’t think I’d finish up loving it in so far as I do. The reason I purchased the ‘Pivot’ to begin with was since it was £5, it looked like a funky color and I thought I possibly could chuck it in my MUA kit if I didn’t like it when it came. Anyway, 6 months has passed and it’s really probably the best £5 I’ve ever spent, it’s Uber pigmented, super soft, lasts on the eyes and it off has tremendous color pay.
